Only hiccup here is most teams (Brewers, for ex) could easily have done it but they know there is 0 chance Skubal signs with them, so why give any prospects in that scenario if you believe you “window” will be bigger than 3 mos of Skubal?

Whether or not Detroit would do well in the trade really came down to whether or not anyone was willing to get really uncomfortable to acquire Skubal. They weren't. Even the Dodgers.)

Walking my opinion of the new Bundesliga TV rights back some. While its annoying to have to switch, the (current) set up has Fandango free as an app on Roku. And USA network is also available on roku but ONLY if you have a cable scrip - which why would I have if Im a cord cutter using roku?
The US is not a serious team when you sub in a guy like Reyna, in a must win match youre trailing, when his last impactful moment on a pitch was 3 years ago.
