Hanging out at our local B&N while my hubs is working tonight. Starting my read of Daggermouth by H.M. Wolfe. This was gifted to me by a friend for my birthday & she told me it’s her favorite read of the year so far and I decided that means read it now to my brain instead of waiting. #BookSky

Continuing my read of The Wretched Divine by Adalyn Grace while enjoying a cup of Irish breakfast tea. Using my book club journal to record questions or theories as opposed to just write out my thoughts after reading the book. We’ll see how that goes for me. #BookSky

This evening’s read while chilling at my local Barnes & Noble. This book is an inspirational memoir written by one of my customers. Dream Big is the tagline he likes to use, when I found the book market saying that I had to use it for this book. #BookSky

A copy of No Straight Lines to the Stars by Ken Kisco, attached to the book is a magnetic book marker that reads DREAM BIGA white page with the inscription,
Melissa,
Dream Big!
Enjoy the Read!

Our usual Sunday breakfast plans changed so this morning I am enjoying some reading in The Iron Hex and a cup of True Blue Oolong from Harney & Sons tea. “I just…I wanted to remind you that you are allowed to grow.” Probably one of the best support of redemption sentences I have read. #BookSky

With only a few days left in August I decided to look at my September planned reads. I might actually get The Iron Hex finished in these last few days of August. Three of the books are for book club, No Straight Lines to the Stars is an inspirational memoir written by one of my customers. #BookSky

The book on top with its cover showing is the Iron Hex. In the stack from top to bottom are Moss’d in Space, No Straight Lines to the Stars, Fir Whom the Belle Tolls, Tower of Dawn, and Empire of Storms.

This was a cute read. I am not much for rom-coms but Isla Jewell is a pen name for Delilah S. Dawson who had written some of the Star Wars books I enjoyed so I gave this a shot and I am glad that I did. I am looking forward to more in the series. #BookSky
