Como se está acercando junio (pride month), he creado una bandera del orgullo para los fans de Yoshi's Island. El verde representa a Yoshi, protagonista de estos juegos. El rojo representa a Bebé Mario, a quién Yoshi debe rescatar. Oh, y no os vais a creer que representa ese huevo de Yoshi.

It is possible that Mr. E, the eponymous mysterious book from Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, is inspired at least partially by the Voynich Manuscript, a famous medieval book that seems to describe unindentifiable wondrous flora in a completely incomprehensible language.

In Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, Mr. E (the eponymous mysterious book) is an encyclopedia on flora and fauna, most of which seem to only exist inside of him and not be based on preexisting Yoshi's Island species. Each of his pages is one or more illustrations, surrounded by blocks of unreadable text. The text appears everywhere inside the game world as well, and seems indecipherable on purpose. The Voynich Manuscript is a mysterious book from the 15th century, most of which is seemingly an encyclopedia on various wondrous flora, none of which has ever been identified conclusively and is believed to be at least partially fictional. In addition, the text is written in a unknown language that has eluded decryption ever since the discovery of the manuscript, making the entire book incomprehensible.
