Arriving internationally at SEA this summer? Pro tip: bags first. A smoother arrival starts with knowing what to expect. Learn more before you land: www.portseattle.org/blog/bags-fi...
it's sad for the bags who get left behind, but what can you do
On this week’s AvTalk, we discuss the progress report on the Air India flight 171 investigation that didn’t report much progress. And IATA is betting this owl and his friends can help prevent people from taking their carry on baggage during an evacuation. www.flightradar24.com/blog/avtalk-...
Paging the passenger that forgot a backpack, 2 laptops, and a pan of lasagna… please return to the security checkpoint to claim your forgotten items.
my human flies without me (because my vinyl is really coming apart, I just stay home and take it easy) recently she went to the Denver Art Museum and they even have bag art!
the metal tag never arrived, and now the ordering page only shows the plastic ones, womp womp
I have been informed that after my human gets to Platinum, I will finally get the fancy bag tag I deserve!
well well well, look who finally decided to follow the 'ol bag @apoure25.bsky.social when he visited my human's house in person last year, I didn't even get a hello!! like I'm a bag of chopped liver
my human should buy me one of these! I can't put it together with no hands, though :(
Tonight’s reading material
My takeaway from this episode is: "bags fly free, but only if they're drunk"
On this week’s AvTalk podcast, how Taters the laser cat helped make this photo possible. And US airlines spent the week piling on increased checked bag fees. www.flightradar24.com/blog/avtalk-...
I'm still waiting for the fancy bag tag, but my human got a pair of regular plastic ones, so that's something at least.

My human updated my Flight Memory and Dorkfest put me over 550,000 miles in total! (which is exactly why my vinyl is coming apart) my.flightmemory.com/panambag

Well, on the way back I had to go in the overhead bin because my human got assigned 1F. But at least in that small bin over row 1, I don't slide around too much.
When my human's upgrade cleared, there were several seats left to choose from and she intentionally did not pick row 1 because she knows I don't like having to fly in the overhead bin. Over here in 3F, I have plenty of room!
There were so many people there, I ran out of characters!
I see how it is. You can walk next year, bag! 😉
It was great seeing @crankyflier.com @habbott4.bsky.social @blgranucci.bsky.social @ottergoose.net @traineyjr.bsky.social @davidparkerbrown.com @philderner.substack.com @petchmo.bsky.social @jonostrower.com and my many other human friends at Dorkfest / #SpotLAX2025 this weekend!

My human came upstairs and said "OK, Pan Am Bag, we have to get our shit together" so it's time to pack me for Dorkfest/ #SpotLAX2025!
