Christie said he first wants to “see what happens in six weeks” in the midterms, suggesting major Republican losses could open the door to another presidential bid.
I don’t like McConnell one bit but if this were happening to a neighbor or family member, we’d bucket it as elder abuse. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being “Here, Grandpa, sign these checks, don’t worry about it,” we’re at like an 8 or 9.
Sometimes I read these articles about undiagnosed ADHD in girls and think “I wonder…naaaaah” And then I get these ads.
I read the METR after action report and it’s remarkable how much the agents are basically teenagers who realize they could get caught cheating on the SATs and downward spiral into a cover up worse than the “crime.”

Huge Kojima fan but (personal opinion) this seems like a very vanilla issue of Sony wanting to get its priorities and operational costs in orders. Kojima is famously a budget-buster.

But I will add that (as I said a couple weeks ago), the Physint cancellation came after several months of negotiations between KoPro and Sony. Wasn’t exactly out of nowhere

One of the best classes I took in law school didn’t permit laptops. I think it’s folly to cordon off kids from AI in school, but we should definitely be reverting back to a classroom that emphasizes reading and conversation anyway. It’s not like we were winning gold stars in education before.

I can tell I’m getting old as a gamer because as much as WoW Forever is tempting, the last time I logged into my account, I was overwhelmed with where all the shit I worked my butt off for went.
Anyway, I flew first class on United for the first time in my life last month and now I’m just in the exit row. Can honestly say I have no idea what you pay for in First Class.

So the Saudis are getting it from two directions—the Houthis to the southwest and Iraqi militias from the northeast—in addition to Iran blocking the Strait of Hormuz. No easy path out of this one.
