We now have our new WCC Rates bill, following our new Tiaki Wai water bill. The combined rates and water cost has risen from $7,002.75 to $7,616.11 a year—an increase of 8.76%. WCC invoice has fallen, but the separate Tiaki Wai bill more than offsets that reduction. Quel surprise 🙄

Tale as old as the time I’ve lived here - 17 years! And they still haven’t figured it out! 🙄 My first visit to Queenstown was in 2004 and it was fairly busy but ok to get around. But since moving to NZ this has been an escalating problem that no one has addressed but continue complain about!
