Wick graciously took on my request to feature Lyon in an affectionate moment with Dawon and other creatures in his care, and I'm in love with how it turned out.

Lyon Helsos cradles a baby coeurl kitten while another climbs on his shoulder. He lifts his other hand to touch Dawon affectionately as Dawon presses their head against him. Dawon's horn rests against Lyon's throat, but despite the danger, Lyon looks trustingly towards them.

Once upon a time, G'raha Tia thought it would be easy to persist on the notion of being vaguely important.

He follows these odd members of the Ironworks back to their workshop, carved out of the remnants of the Agrius and the desiccated body of the great Midgardsormr. They take a shoddy ferry across the water; it is no longer fresh and clear, sparkling with stars as in his memory, but forebodingly murky. As they cross on foot what remains of a great empty airship plate, blue and white-garbed people of all shapes peer at him from dilapidated shelters, whispering among themselves.

It's him. The Allagan. The one from the tower.

He is the guide of knowledge awoken from another time. He is the words of a story they've told each other come to life. He pulls the shabby robe's hood closer about himself and nearly tears up again. He breathes in through his nose, angry at countless, shapeless things, yearning for a target, settling for himself.
