you are not, in fact, supposed to be able to pull the connector off the end of a run of heliax with a gentle tug. All fixed up and the antenna actually works now!
using shopping bags as a weatherproofing material is an innovative new approach to radio I’ve not yet seen
peak special interest reading material - trains, radios, and telephones
i'm being told it's the cleanest clock signal anyone's ever measured
Doing some (RF) plumbing - added in an LNA/attenuator/filter combo to the receive side so my multicoupler actually works properly now
dont tell the FRA but I’m operating a locomotive under the influence of alcohol
brute forcing my way through learning blender, one lowpoly chicagoland transit railcar at a time
Working on a little lowpoly CTA trainset and I decided to go the extra mile and give it configurable route signage with matching marker lights
hello 👋 i have developed a new tool called blüuümpíi. blüuümpíi will convert every file on your hard drive to a .wav file without asking you, maximize your system volume, and play them on every bluetooth speaker you have ever connected to. if you offer feedback on blüuümpíi i will take legal action
Super stoked to finally share the latest Newgrounds collab I'm a part of! @kotico.bsky.social invited me to compose a JRPG-inspired track for the Spectra Collab - an interactive artists' collaboration to create a library of games for a fake console system. ↓ Link to my song in the replies below ↓

spent two hours with a wrench and a torch to try and figure out why my 6GHz calibration standard was dead. If it wasn't broken before it sure is now. Tiny little ceramic substrate PCB with two carbon traces that combine to make an extremely precise 50Ω load, and now unfortunately in two pieces.
super secret sneak preview of a song for an upcoming @newgrounds.com collab with a bunch of other super talented artists! (and yes I love writing piano sections that would require 3 hands to play) #musiciansky #musicfriday #art #music #newgrounds #orchestral #composer
