When you never interact w/ people outside of Politics or filthy rich, you actually have no idea about reality. This works on the other end of the power/socioeconomic spectrum too. I know people here in upstate New York who think that NYC, which is just 2 1/2 hours away is a war zone. 😬

We DO have the right to disappear from our jobs, whether we delare "Take this Job & Shove it!" or not. Faced with poor wages, bad working condtions & sometimes options, workers do it all the time. The "crime" here is not that, it's the use being made of his situation to prevent his replacement.
