Parking Reform Network

@parkingreform.org

An org with a mission to educate the public about the impact of parking policy on housing, climate, equity, and traffic. https://linktr.ee/parkingreform

Parking reform wins because people organize. PRN helps local advocates, planners, and reformers make the case, connect with each other, and push for better policy. If you believe cities should have better parking rules, become a PRN member. Help build the movement. Become a member today.

North Carolina State Senate just passed (44-1) H.162 the PARKING LOT REFORM/STORMWATER CONTROL bill! Costly parking mandates will be prohibited in more than 90% of the entire state starting 1/1/27 (pending an expected concurrence vote). Congratulations to everyone who put in time on this!!

I feel bad I haven't updated the Parking Reform Atlas www.parkingreformatlas.org recently. I have about 50 half-written drafts but am struggling with motivation. Have you found it useful? I could use an encouraging word or two from the #parkingreform community. cc @parkingreform.org

Live in Boston, Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Ottawa? Your city is likely voting on parking policy in 2026. These decisions shape whether we get more homes, safer streets, climate progress – or more of the same. The pieces are on the board. It’s time to make our move. Show up. Organize. Link in bio

I wish we didn’t have to fundraise, but we do. I’m not going to list 2025's accomplishments; if you follow us, you’ve heard all that. But I will make a bold statement: There is no cause you can support today with broader or more positive impact than parking reform. Donate at the link in bio.

In Dallas, 27% of the central city is off street parking This isn’t just ugly, it’s bad economics But things are changing In 2025, PRN helped pass parking reform in five states, as well as Dallas, Baltimore, and Denver This wouldn’t be possible without our donors Pitch in at the link in bio
