This is a new image of comet 3I/ATLAS, showing the development of a long tail of dust and gas as the object gets closer to the Sun. As a reminder, the "I" in 3I/ATLAS stands for "interstellar". Because this comet formed around a different star and is OLDER THAN THE SOLAR SYSTEM
