This is hugely significant case. An ET has now ruled that Bristol Uni were wrong to dismiss #Sociology Professor David Miller because his "anti-Zionist beliefs qualified as a philosophical belief and as a protected characteristic pursuant to section 10 Equality Act 2010".

Liverpool John Moores University, where Jason Arday got his PhD, is currently offering £203 as a PhD examiner’s fee. Their PhD’s should have a maximum length of 80,000 words. That’s a novel of about 300 pages. Let’s assume it takes you 10 hours, between reading, checking citations and making notes.

Some of the reactions around the rapidly developing Jason Arday story are extraordinary, such as Simon Baron-Cohen telling us to back off because people with autistic traits are more likely to commit suicide.

Many years ago, as a naive young sociology student, I had a lecture by a Library Information Systems person, who told us that Anne Frank’s Diary was a #fake (written by others etc). So began an enduring interest. I have not come across anything to support that claim. #anti-semetism

On 1 August 1944, Anne Frank wrote the last entry in her diary, three days before her family's attic hiding place was raided and its inhabitants arrested. Apart from her father Otto, the entire Frank family died in the camps. 📸 Dutch first edition of Anne Frank’s Diary

I was not informed by the BBC that they would have a right wing political figure or lobbyist on after me to rebut what I said. The individual in question went on to spout lies about China, etc. to distract attention from the Trump administration's assault on climate action. This is unacceptable.

How do some employment #Tribunal cases get so far down the road? ‘The determination records submissions highlighting an “evidential vacuum” ‘. Nobody likes #bullying but a claim while performance is being managed must have strong evidence and good advice. www.elystandard.co.uk/news/2640536...
