Here for when Elon kills the bird.
Damn he pays an attorney for that?
From @theathletic.com: A day after Aaron Rodgers called former top U.S. health official Dr. Anthony Fauci an “absolute coward,” Fauci’s attorney fired back: “Aaron Rodgers doesn’t know what he’s talking about. He should stick to football.”
good reminder that before the counting is over, election results don’t tighten. at no point is anyone trailing. nobody moves closer. they’re just tabulating the polls. it’s a fixed number that just isn’t done yet. to say otherwise is bad journalism but even worse math.
Per @wyche89.bsky.social Jalon Walker has been carted off in Flowery Branch with a leg injury
The RB in question here had 79 catches at 10.4 y/r
You're right, it's a passing league now. Winning at the running back position basically relies on rotation and cost-effectiveness. Just look at how the Chiefs have managed to make late-round rookies perform well that shows their commercial value has declined.
A big benefit to those who want to harm people is that worker power is so bad that a lot of people felt required to facilitate this liar going on TV specifically to cause harm.
I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.
Oh you'd like to see reporting about publicly financed stadiums where fans can't afford attendance in the first place? interesting i wonder if anyone has done that. better to not check while siding with capital first
It doesn’t suck for me. Do you know what does suck for me as a fan? Insane ticket prices for NFL games, and ridiculous cable/streaming fees. I’d love to see some sports reporters getting angry about those things, instead of some RB not getting paid as many millions of $$ as some other players.
Underwhelmed at the Robinson deal, it's like Greg Rousseau money
One day I did a demo field segment with Kyle Van Noy and Willie McGinest on Total Access on stripping the QB No.
Do you think you take a hit from a NFL player and not fumble the ball at your age?
Aaron Rodgers, master of the code switch knows what message goes to what audience. Trouble is sometimes the mask comes off to reveal another underneath
Death, taxes, the unrelenting urge to say "Yes he can" everytime someone says Kenny Pickett
Protect College Sports (From antitrust)
Official: The Big Ten and SEC support the latest version of the Protect College Sports Act. Opens the door for a possible Senate vote next week before a monthlong recess. Would also need to pass the House, obviously. But this is a big step.
And here I was thinking they never faced consequences

Potential addition to the The Sean McVay Staffer Job For Coaches Who Can't PR Good and Who Wanna Learn to Do Other Stuff Good Too
Former Bills head coach Sean McDermott is visiting today with the Los Angeles Rams. McDermott is using his off time to see how a few teams such as the Rams operate. Original post
The sock sets they sell that are all *slightly* different so it's more punitive to lose one sock. I know it's intentional and they're all liars.
What is an extremely nerdy/obscure/specific thing you hate with a white-hot wrath?
Yes, Malcolm Gladwell is in the flight logs, but only because cultural norms prevented him from speaking up to authority when he actually did not want to get on the plane at all.
Can just hear Malcolm Gladwell doing the Flock prime subscription ad read gleefully announcing it includes cancelled tracking for your children
$2,000 a month to only send your whereabouts to the cops during the daytime. You get the night off.
How long til Flock starts charging a fee to not send your whereabouts to cops 24 hours a day?
Too Deep Zone used to be a Substack. Then I realized Substack was awful. Then I stayed, because I am old and terrified of change. Then it got even worse. So I left. Now we're on Ghost, where there are far fewer scuzzwaffles, at least overt ones. too-deep-zone.ghost.io/the-skeptics...
The Skeptic's NFL Training Camp Guide: NFC West
The Rams and Seahawks may be the two best teams in the NFL. The 49ers are almost as good when healthy, which is never. And then there are the Cardinals, who are so bad that even the search engines hav...

Had the chance to meet him at the FF Expo this past weekend in Canton. It was a pleasure just to have a short conversation with him (he's big on GTA6, btw). This is awful news to find out. Wishing him all the best.
Ahman Green has Early Onset Parkinson's. He looks around. He knows one domino can tip to the next, but hell no. He's not scared. "My clock is going to stop ticking when I want it to stop ticking." Full ep: www.golongtd.com/p/ahman-gree...
Saints DT Bryan Bresee, one of the linchpins their defense and a rising star, is feared to have suffered a torn ACL, per me and Mike Garafolo. While tests are ongoing, it’s likely the former first-rounder is done for the season.
