Last week I spoke to Hits Radio about a letter I signed regarding the early release of prisoners. I am pleased the PM has paused the early release of prisoners, but it is a deep shame and failing that this was ever on the table. (1/3)

I popped in to see the gorgeous Emma a local business owner who has moved to bigger premises on Smithdown Rd Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities & I wish Emma every success If you're looking for something special to wear, accessories, cards & gifts, Wardrobe has you covered

Great to be out in Smithdown Ward tonight with local Councillors James Roberts, Jon Morris & Laura Robinson-Collins. Thanks also to CLP members Ben & Peter for helping us. Lots of casework issues picked up & good conversations.

I have been receiving increased complaints from residents in Arundel Ward. I've held meetings with stakeholders in respect of waste mgmt, ASB & potential criminality. I'll be doing all I can to ensure stakeholders are held to account & work to improve the area is ongoing & consistent.

Proud to join CWU North West members & colleagues from across the region today to oppose BT moving 600 jobs from Liverpool. This proposal is a devastating blow to our city & along with colleagues I am urging BT to reconsider.

Wonderful news for families here in Liverpool Wavertree and across the country. 🏭 Our Labour Government is expanding the school curriculum, giving kids the choice to study technical subjects like manufacturing and AI. Helping young people reach their full potential and find a career they love.

Labour’s Employment Rights Act strengthens your rights at work. The Lib Dems tried to water it down. 🚰 The Tories voted against it. ❌ Reform UK would repeal it. ↩️ Only Labour stands up for workers’ rights. ✅✊🌹

Great session at Lark Lane Farmers Market today. Lots of people stopping to chat to share how pleased they are with our new Prime Minister & the announcements he's made this week. Thanks to everyone who stopped to chat.

I am pleased to hear the Prime Minister has decided to pause the early release of prisoners. We should be looking to release those still serving unjust IPP sentences, not releasing dangerous criminals who have not served their time.

Last week it was a privilege to join my good friend Mary Kelly Foy MP to support her in her campaign for everyone to check their breasts. The work Mary does is phenomenal & I would urge everyone, women & men to check their breasts regularly so we can beat breast cancer together.
