Young people should not be priced out of education, employment or training. That is why Labour is making is transport more affordable for 16 to 18-year-olds.
Last week I spoke to Hits Radio about a letter I signed regarding the early release of prisoners. I am pleased the PM has paused the early release of prisoners, but it is a deep shame and failing that this was ever on the table. (1/3)

As a Labour member, MP, and trade unionist, I’m proud to endorse Kerry, Cat, Jovan and Elizabeth to serve on our party’s NEC.
I have been receiving increased complaints from residents in Arundel Ward. I've held meetings with stakeholders in respect of waste mgmt, ASB & potential criminality. I'll be doing all I can to ensure stakeholders are held to account & work to improve the area is ongoing & consistent.
An important read from Daniel Hewitt, who has spent years exposing the horrifying realities of Britain's housing and homelessness crisis. www.bigissue.com/news/housing...
The horrific state of social housing shames Britain. We can fix it
ITV News investigations editor Daniel Hewitt has written a book about what needs to be done to finally fix social housing in the UK. He believes a state-backed housebuilder is the only way to do it

Proud to join CWU North West members & colleagues from across the region today to oppose BT moving 600 jobs from Liverpool. This proposal is a devastating blow to our city & along with colleagues I am urging BT to reconsider.
Great to catch up with Lee & Graeme today from the FBU. We discussed the challenges facing our Fire & Rescue Service.
Wonderful news for families here in Liverpool Wavertree and across the country. 🏭 Our Labour Government is expanding the school curriculum, giving kids the choice to study technical subjects like manufacturing and AI. Helping young people reach their full potential and find a career they love.

Labour’s Employment Rights Act strengthens your rights at work. The Lib Dems tried to water it down. 🚰 The Tories voted against it. ❌ Reform UK would repeal it. ↩️ Only Labour stands up for workers’ rights. ✅✊🌹

I am pleased to hear the Prime Minister has decided to pause the early release of prisoners. We should be looking to release those still serving unjust IPP sentences, not releasing dangerous criminals who have not served their time.
Great campaign session out on the doors in Cale Green talking to residents about Bev Craig's Mayoral campaign. Thank you to everyone who made time for us.🌹 💻 bevformayor.co.uk
Last week it was a privilege to join my good friend Mary Kelly Foy MP to support her in her campaign for everyone to check their breasts. The work Mary does is phenomenal & I would urge everyone, women & men to check their breasts regularly so we can beat breast cancer together.
