As much as I loathe Leagues Cup, I think MLS officials are going to keep it around at least in the short term. The MLS calendar change sets up matches early in the season when there’s not much interest (think NBA Cup), and I think they’re willing to keep it around just based off that.

Leagues Cup was cool in 2023 because there was a new car smell to it, and I got to see Messi play live for the first time ever. Now in 2026 after the World Cup, I have the same excitement for it as a preseason football game.

The overwhelming right wing sentiment is that COVID was an engineered bioweapon that was also harmless. Trump overreacted to it by shutting down the country, then engineered a drive to create a vaccine that was the real bioweapon that killed millions, and it's Joe Biden's fault.

Took some time recently and compiled a list of every Philadelphia Union match I've ever attended: 130 matches. Hit 100 last year in a 1-0 win against St. Louis City SC on March 22nd. Soccer! It never gets old! #DOOP

Do Americans actually like sport? They seem to feel there must always be something else going on to keep you engaged. Most fans just want the game to restart. We’re capable of enjoying the break.

Went to the doctor today, and my blood pressure is at the lowest it’s been since I got hospitalized with hypertension six years ago. The World Cup has been good for my blood pressure, shockingly.
