This speech is quite literally an impeachable offense. The President is trying to undermine faith in US elections and to delegitimize the elections of public officials.

Endless airtime on UK media was today devoted to very well-spoken ex-military men and equally well-spoken spokesmen for the military demanding increased defence spending. Welfare budgets are "pointless", "if the Russian invaders take over the country". Gendered class politics of the worst kind
