Each year I produce a few wall calendars with my photography in them. I do a pre-order special to help fund the printing and shipping costs. I have three options for calendars this year, you can check them out here: paulpichugin.com/calendar-lau... #Photography #WesternAustralia #Australia

Reworking some of my old Iceland photos using some presets I've created... pretty happy with the results :)
I still can't believe i captured one of the most amazing and favorite shots of sprites. The detail and intensity was outstanding. And it was from my hometown of Rio Rico. I would gladly forgo capturing normal lightning ever again if I could continue to capture these on a frequent basis.
Spent some time photographing my local Whistling Kites, there were about 20 of them in this little bay. #birds #wildlifephotography #photography
Any experts on #Bandicoot / Quenda on here? Our little friend was looking all healthy only a few weeks ago, but has now lost all his fur and isn't moving as well as he used to. Ideas?
I'm not sure there are many places that are more appropriately named than Peaceful Bay on the South Coast of Western Australia.
Happy that my friends in Queensland are all ok, hope any of you in SE Qld & Northern NSW are weathering the storm ok! I grew up mostly in Brisbane & Qld, I do not miss the cyclones and hectic storms. #Queensland #Brisbane #Photography
Hello! How has everyone's week been? Mine has been pretty productive.
Over 1 year of trying to photograph the bandicoot / quenda in my yard... today I was sitting out there and he (yes, this one is a male) came within 40cms of me! #Wildlife #Photography #Australia
A throwback to photographing a storm rolling in over the Great Pyramids of Egypt at sunrise.
A Whistling Kite (Haliastur sphenurus) launching into flight. These raptors are named for their distinctive, high-pitched whistling call. Whistling Kites are opportunistic hunters and scavengers, feeding on small mammals, birds, reptiles, and carrion. #Wildlife #Australia #Birds
We've been on the farm for one year today... I would find it incredibly difficult to move back into the suburbs after this. We're even more determined to get our own small farm. #farm #nature #australia
I've been teaching my girls how to snorkel and dive down to explore... they are growing in competence and that is building their confidence! I really need to get another proper underwater camera rig, rather than just using my Gopro.
A bit of a stormy start to the day yesterday... Ocean Beach, Denmark, Western Australia
Beautiful morning on the south coast of Western Australia. Ocean Beach, Denmark, Western Australia
I think it is high time that I revisited some of my old favourites... I photographed this particular creek for the first time in 2004 while doing some very off track hiking in the Otway Ranges. The Otways are an incredible part of Victoria, easily one of my favourite places on mainland Australia.
Last year we had some incredible Aurora Australis activity over the South West of Western Australia, this night was easily one of the best.
Aurora Australis activity over the skies south of Busselton tonight. I need a wider astro lens, I've just cropped out the Magellanic Clouds in this photo. Sony A7RIV + Sigma 16mm f/1.4 (crop lens, so it is closer to 24mm in reality) ISO3200, f/1.4, 4 seconds #WesternAustralia #AstroPhotography
Nothing really went to plan this year, but it has reminded me of what an amazing community I'm part of. I'm super grateful for my family that are supportive & beyond grateful for my wife. As I get older I'm more & more aware of the importance of a great partner in life, not everyone gets so lucky.
A throwback to when I lived in Queensland and was lucky enough to photograph Purlingbrook Falls in full flow!
This is the final week to get any prints ordered in time for Christmas! Any orders that come in this week will get a bonus wall calendar as well, at least until I run out, I'm not too far from being completely out of stock this year! #photography #westernaustralia
I love photographing wildlife in the snow... This sneaky fox was in the snow in Hokkaido, Japan, I photographed it early last year. #wildlife #photography #japan
