I was young and joined the military before the whole 9/11 thing happened. After that; everything changed. The people who joined up after were people who just wanted to "shoot arabs" It was a rough time. While I did learn skills and it helped me get my current career. I would never do it again.

😸 Hugo the pink cat 😸@hugothepinkcat.bsky.social · 2w agoOne thing that has stayed with me over the years and still bothers me GREATLY, is that IF the Chlorine incident at MFF 2014 had happened AT ANY OTHER TYPE OF EVENT besides a furry convention, EVERYBODY would have treated it seriously as the terroristic act it was. Instead. People made fun of it.
So I actually had an idea that makes D&D Clerics make more sense - questions of "if gods can grant this sort of power, why do Clerics have to level up" and "if gods have this much power, why can they only act through their clerics?" What if the gods are mostly dead, and can ONLY act this way?
