This is the danger of even "AI-assisted" art. It fills in the holes and smooths out the lumps, but... why? To create something that exceeds our limitations? All it ensures, practically, is that we never develop enough to grow beyond those limits. Simultaneously, we surrender our creative identity.
Loish@loish.bsky.social · 2y agoi used to love watching artists grow and develop their own voices and styles. it was one of my favorite things to see on social media - that growth and evolution. with AI becoming more and more prevalent i feel like so much art is starting to look the same.
