I'm not sorry to see Stevens go or to see AIPAC fail. American voters deserve an end to binary thinking on Israel-Palestine and a focus on democracy here. Without it, we are no help to anyone. Don't make this race about I-P or AES will lose. I hope he "mends fences," as he promised, and triumphs.

Hi people, any ideas how to make this a fortress that will keep away children gloating about how much they hate Kamala Harris? I am almost always willing to talk to people I disagree with, but this Lord of the Flies stuff is too much. No MAGA, none of these people who tossed away democracy.
I don't have words to express my anger at the treatment of Dr. Fauci, AND the whole thing feels vaguely Harriet the Spy, writing about your classmates and getting busted, which of course I replicated by keeping my own notebook because I wanted to BE Harriet the Spy.
I mean, I don't know, I'd pick Democratic loyalist Jews over Piker's fan base. Are they going to bother to vote?

Not sure Bluesky is it. Make a relatively innocuous comment, leave, come back to find 30 notifications all in response to a blocked post. I miss my Twitter z"l community. I learned from them and they made me laugh.

It's especially galling that Haley Stevens is portraying herself as the great protector of the Jews in her campaign against a Muslim candidate, given that in 2022 she beat a wonderful Jewish Congressman in a costly primary in part by accusing him of being insufficiently pro-Israel.

Hey -- pup has Cushings disease (dx a couple months ago) and today is really struggling to walk. Terrier mix, 11-12. She had a spell about two months ago and came out of it. Is this an ER visit or a call frantically on Monday? (We skipped her walks when the smoke was really bad, but now it's ok.)
