This is the container rose I wanted to do away with in Spring because the leaves were all black & eaten up. I pruned it down to a few strong stems, watered it well and fed it w/ liquid seaweed. I give it a dose every 4 weeks. It bounced back! 🌱

Last year my cosmos were a fail. This year they are great. Why? The weather and lack of rain last year ruined a lot. This year it's still hot but we've gotten good rains. 🌱❤️

Tip for new gardeners who don't have rain barrels to collect water. Fill your watering cans with water from garden hose. Let it sit for a few days (chlorine evaporates) then use it to water your container plants. For my ❤️Brit friends: Isn't "rain barrel" nicer than "water butt"?🌱
