NEW TGCF DONGHUALIAN ILLUSTRATION!!! I love whenever we get official illustrations of Hua Cheng looking at Xie Lian when Xie Lian isn't looking. 💕 BUUUUUT... when we get official art of them looking into each other's eyes full of love? 😭 It always makes my heart melt. 😭❤ #TGCF #天官赐福

It iiis october, so I decided to repost this vaguely inspired Elder Scrolls AU one img per day over the coming days! It's just a collection of lil sketches hehe 🔞CW: This has some mind bending/obsession, somno etc. I'll put relevant warnings per page just to be on the safe side! 1/9 #moshang

On the left, text reads:

Shang Qinghua was a dedicated scholar.

But sometimes, his emotions got the best of him. That was how, one day, he accidentally summoned something while trying to get revenge against people who wronged him.
But what was that enormous, demon-like individual who looked so intensely at him before vanishing as the spell ended?

As a member of the College, Shang Qinghua had some idea, though nothing too concrete. He was, however, uncapable to stop thinking about those cold blue eyes, burning him as if they could read the deepest parts of Shang Qinghua, analyzing him, looking for something.

So he decided to find out — even if it meant dabbing in secret, forbidden magic.

On the right, a cloaked shang qinghua cowers in front of his invocation (Mobei Jun, a Dremora), who looks down at him amidst the blue flames.

"To die in battle for you is my greatest honor" #TGCF #hualian

Illustration depicting Hua Cheng's final moments during his first death. Painted with an overall pink palette and structured in three parts: first, a panel with a close-up of Xie Lian's face looking down and smiling during the Shangyuan procession; second, Xie Lian with soldier Hua Cheng's head in his lap, he is smiling down at him and caressing his face while pink flowers burst from his sleeves, HC is smiling and crying as he hold on to the red pearl; third, a close-up of HC's face as he lies dead on the ground, still holding on to the pearl, the flying petals turning into fire embers floating in the air.

Mobei you're gonna give him a heart attack 😭 #Svsss #ShangQinghua #MobeiJun #Moshang

Digital drawing Of Shang Qinghua walking out of a dark room towards the light (A crack from the door) the light illuminates his face and produces harsh shadows, behind him is a shadow morphing into swirls and tendrils. Shang Qinghua looks above him in absolute fear as he puts his hands up shaking, he stammers out a "My King?" hoping the entity behind him is his king and not an intruder.

The MXTX red blacks as magical girls! i tried to style them based off different flavours nehehehe

The MXTX red blacks as magical girls. Luo Binghe is very classic Shoujo a la Sailor Moon. Wei Wuxian has a newer more utilitarian design a la Utena/Penguin Drum. And Hua Cheng is Homura Madoka Magicka, obviously.

finished up more of those #moshang sprites for funsies :)c

svsss rkgk: mbj vn sprites!
as advertised. mobei only 3 emotes jun
a creative person could come up with more poses that convey different emotions while staying true to the stoic king's character....... but *I* think it's funny if he really does have just a very limited pool of sprites LOL. its metatextual <3

svsss rkgk: sqh vn sprites!
it's full on ace attorney style whacky sprites in here. sqh would be SO fun to program a conversation where hes really goin thru it. i'd like to draw more poses, but even these four can have a ton of variations... freak out is my favorite tho.
