The studies capture range of student experiences and levels of analysis made possible through #NCES data. Topics span college prep and transition; predictors of college degree attainment and labor market outcomes; and implications of various policies.
The articles demonstrate how #NCES data support rigorous, policy-relevant scholarship across the full postsecondary pipeline. Such research in the US would be considerably more challenging without NCES data sources or in conditions in which fewer researchers have access.
Last summer #RiHE solicited submissions for a special issue featuring National Center for Education Statistic's data. The issue is now complete, with 15 publications reviewed over the past year using a range of data sets from #NCES on a variety of topics. link.springer.com/collections/...

UPDATE: After DOGE/NSF froze making any new NSF awards last week, it has now resumed. Of course, this is amid the NSF director resigning yesterday, more terminations of active awards expected today, etc. But an interesting tidbit nevertheless...
