Looking east across the Hudson towards Manhattan. You are mostly seeing the area between 40th St. And maybe 60th St there are piers out from Manhattan and in the water close by are some ferry boats that go from New Jersey to Manhattan. The sky has some very dark clouds that part over the city and the sky in the distance is blue with some orange streaks. The entire color palette is a little washed out.

A large oak tree is heavily draped with lace lichen that looks like pale green moss hanging from branches. Lace lichen is a combination of fungi and algae. It provides a food source to deer and nest-building material for birds. It is also California's state symbol (who knew?). Around the tree on the ground are vegetation and poison oak (red leaves).
