ALSO, hear me out... reaching high scores and leveling up like crazy and then using progression screencaps to negotiate a pay raise. Sweet lord!?

I am playing Fallout instead of writing that brief due tomorrow, but I won't get in trouble with my boss because you don't see any butts. No videogames are safe for work. Maybe Solitaire.

I went to sleep yesterday right before turning off the TV as some farmers were about to butcher a bunny for meat. Then I wake up today, flick on the news channel and get this instant report on rabbits becoming more common as a meat source. Like COOL IT with the bunny apocalypse man??? What the hell.
EVIL DEAD BURN (2026) basically disowns any campiness of this franchise in favor of a frantic, nonstop slurry of violence and mean, macabre scenes with some impressive camerawork. I personally miss the playful humor but won't deny that my seat was clutched as the grossness got dialed up to 11. ★★★½
The 7th Guest Remake, while rough and uneven, actually took me wayyy back to my teeny weeny self in front of a five-ton CRT in the 90s, fully engulfed in its haunting and dense atmo with a buttload of "what the hell am I even looking at" puzzles. This doll puzzle was diabolical tho. Yeesh.
So yeee I parted ways with my old, since long unused PS3 today. Traded away like a common chicken at a peasant's market. I tested it out before wrapping everything, and... it was fun. That chicken had some bawk left in it and now it's gone. TYPICAL.
On AI music remixes, I actually give them a listen at times. They can hold an intricate flair enticing enough to draw me in; the problem occurs when I listen through entire albums and it becomes clear that AI tracks rarely stand out, like it all just melts together with no incentive for a re-listen.

I hope Sucker Punch goes for new and unexplored pastures in their next game. Maybe a third Ghost could be in the cards, but I'd rather see them tackle a whole other genre. Something spooky, perchance? Have a feeling they'd nail horror from what I saw in Yotei.
I'm proper bummed that Ghost of Yotei never grabbed me by the gonads like Tsushima did, luring me back for casual venturing with countless sittings. Atsu's tale and the world was immaculate, truly a delight, but ultimately it felt like I'd consumed enough of that aesthetic and vibe after two games.
