When I went to medical school, my cousin Peter died from cystic fibrosis. He had been ill, well forever. Lung transplants. All kinds. Listening to the @lifearc.bsky.social lung health innovation work (in collaboration with @cysticfibrosis.org.uk it’s amazing. Peter would’ve had a chance today.

As a 6 year old staying in hospital on my own, I found everything very daunting. So when a nurse asked me if I wanted to "spend a penny" I thought she wanted money. She was very insistent so I became very worried because I had no money with me and I didn't know why she wanted it.
One interview we did on children's clinical trial experiences included a story of a child being told they needed to take a blood sample of 'about a teaspoon'. Poor child thought someone was going to dig into her arm with a spoon.

#Measles is highly infectious. One person with measles can infect up to 15 others! The best way to protect against measles and stay safe is to have 2 doses of the MMR vaccine.
