We’ve just rented a projector so the kids can watch some films over August and we’re trying to source and buy treats and snacks. Ionad Hind Rajab is about more than education. It’s about getting back a little bit of childhood. 👇

An Irish artist has helped establish a children's centre in Gaza that provides food, education and psychosocial support to children displaced by the war. Adam Doyle, better known as Spicebag, tells us why he helped create Ionad Hind Rajab. jrnl.ie/7117887

John Hume 18.01.37–03.08.20 A giant of Irish politics, whose belief in a negotiated settlement to the conflict in the north of Ireland, never wavered. At the height of the Troubles, when hatred reigned and killings happened daily, he always spoke about peace. Thank you John. 💚 Resist In Peace. ✊

This British Pathé newsreel from 8th August 1946 was removed from the Pathé website last year, as were many others about the occupation of Palestine. British Pathé newsreels were used as Empire propaganda, rather than for factual reporting, but this one is accurate in its coverage. #bds #resist 🇵🇸

Skys John Sparks, speaking from Jerusalem: ".. the ceasefire in Gaza, the 1st phase was implemented last Oct, its brought about a semblance of peace in Gaza" Moments later: Dr James Smith, speaking from Gaza: "I must challenge your correspondent, there is no ceasefire in Gaza"

HERE’S WHAT REALLY HAPPENED The Met Police are desperate to save face following their unjustified attack on peaceful protesters yesterday. 152 people were arrested outside Westminster Magistrates Court, most of whom had a court listing in their name for a “terrorism” charge.

Spraying red paint on the building of a business complicit in genocide can now see a UK judge lock you up as a terrorist. No need for the British government to push through the abolition of juries. Judges are showing they're only too eager to overrule jury verdicts.
