today was my last day in the office ive occupied for the last 3yrs - since we were able to return to work from the pandemic hiatus. what makes me sad most? i cant take my white board w/ these lovely msgs from beloved coworkers to whatever space i get assigned next 🥺😩😭

today marks 6yrs with the Dream Team! so much *good* and growth has happened over these 6yrs - im eternally grateful that i have gotten to live my purpose here in service to others 🙏🏽💞 cheers to however much time is left to keep doing the work 🥂

im beyond grateful for all the texts, DMs, emails the last 2wks saying “checking on you” “thinking of you” “thank you for all you do” “i/we support you/your team”❣️ the recognition has meant EVERYTHING. its all fuel that keeps me focused to fight instead of deep in despair 🙏🏽

im away at a conference so unable to attend todays NINDS Director’s Award Ceremony but so thankful to my colleagues Drs. Ana E & Jenny K for nominating me for this award 🙏🏽 🥹 i hit the colleague jackpot & feel empowered to embark on my new journey as “supervisor”

Remember, many recommendation letters you were asked to fill out are due December 1st (many emails DON'T say this for whatever stupid reason). That is before you return to work after Thanksgiving since it is so late. Do it before you eat that Turkey. The students will have less indigestion.
