Joy is Resistance! These past couple weeks, my feed has been filled with beautiful posts of people visiting the Obama Presidential Center. My favorites have been of authors visiting the library and seeing that their book(s) are included in the collection. Books matter. The truth matters.

Why does the Freedom to Read Project defend the First Amendment? Because the freedom to read is connected to the freedoms of speech, press, religion, assembly, and petition. We believe people, not politicians or pressure groups, should decide what they read and what ideas they explore.
