Todays Welsh cabinet announcement once again shows the single biggest problem with our politics in Wales. Not enough representation of “young” people. Only one cabinet member is under the age of 40 and she is herself 38/39. To all parties including my own do better.

I had chatted to @phildavies1995.bsky.social about this while he wrote this. It is infuriating when political pundits treat younger politicians as if they’re chasing there DofE award, rather than co-equal members of a political unit. The Greens do litter pick but we never assign this work by age.
Sigh why is it always the young that are expected to provide free labour🤦♂️ @younggreens.bsky.social are busy working throughout roles in the party to get more young people elected, young voices are needed. I was literally first elected @walesgreenparty.bsky.social Deputy leader as a Young Green💚🏴

Now these are the sort of random DMs I like to receive post TV appearances!😂 In a world of ever increasing online abuse be more like this legend😎 Whilst the establishment parties and media chat amongst themselves, @walesgreenparty.bsky.social is here to replace them across Cymru✊🏴💚
You can catch me representing @walesgreenparty.bsky.social on BBC Walescast tonight at 10.40 on BBC One Wales. It will also be available on BBC Iplayer and BBC Sounds.
As I’ve been saying for a long time the establishment parties are finished. The choice now is a stark one, billionaire backed grifters who don’t care about our communities in Reform, or ordinary people who care about our communities and making them better places to live in @greenparty.org.uk 💚
Labour, Reform and the British establishment media's reaction to the Greens win in Gorton and Denton has actually been blatantly flat out racist?
Couldn’t agree more with Will. The people of Wales don’t need more reviews, audits and vague promises. They need immediate bold action to tackle child poverty, the housing crisis and to improve our NHS in Wales Greens would deliver that bold action.
Plaid Cymru have published their “first 100 day plan” for if they win the election. On first reading it feels very much like a plan to make a plan…. Take a look at the part on culture. Full analysis tomorrow in the newsletter.
Thanks so much for having me on as a guest to represent @walesgreenparty.bsky.social it was a pleasure to speak to you both. Check out both this episode and the excellent website👇
To paraphrase @zackpolanski.bsky.social “Our message to the establishment parties is clear, we are not here to be disappointed by you, we are here to replace you!”💚✊ Well done Manchester!
Was great to be at Swansea University this morning recording an episode of Horse Race Politics. It will be out very soon on YouTube, Spotify and over platforms a big shout out to Matt and Louis for having me on. Do check it out💚🏴
Partly quoted in this BBC article. Wales Green Party believes access to education is a public good that should be protected as a right rather than a privilege. In the long term Wales needs to abolish tuition fees for students and forgive existing loans. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...?

“The UK government has not said when the money will be made available or over what period.” Labour making vague promises to Wales a few months out from a Senedd Election, we have all seen this before! Labour don’t care about our communities vote Green💚🏴 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Thanks to @platfform.org for hosting young persons hustings today in Cardiff where I represented @walesgreenparty.bsky.social As the youngest person in a leadership position within the big 6 parties. I say let’s get Young People elected. Having one MS under the age of 35 is not representative!

As Finance Chair, I am proud today to commend @bristolgreenparty.bsky.social's annual budget to Full Council. We are bringing a balanced budget of £1.4B in revenue spending and £400M in capital for 2026/27: millions of pounds for housing, transport and communities. The Green Party is delivering!

A bit of Welsh Rain won’t stop us Greens! Great to be out with fellow Gwent Green Party members in Cwmbran today. @walesgreenparty.bsky.social members can get elected across our nation this May🏴💚
Newsflash for our political media. The beginning of the end not just for Starmer but the Labour Party happened years ago. They took communities like the one I come from for granted. We’ve had enough of being ignored. It’s time to give @greenparty.org.uk a chance💚 www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
Henry Zeffman: Could this be the beginning of the end for Keir Starmer?
Few Labour MPs are publicly calling for Sir Keir Starmer to go but this is very serious moment for the PM.

This is such a daft and revealing line of questioning. I don't think we elect Greens because they don't fly; surely we elect them because they'd deliver the alternatives to flying for all of us? I think the Greens are the only English party to support the delivery of HS2 in full, for example.
#bbclaurak tries to get a gotcha. Zack, you refuse to fly. How can you be a candidate for high office if you'd refuse to ever get on a plane? Well Laura, in that situation I'd get on a plane.
A wet Day in Newport but that didn’t stop myself and other members of @walesgreenparty.bsky.social delivering leaflets and chatting to residents💚 It’s time to get Greens in the Senedd in May to fight to make our communities and our nation a better place to live✊🏴
Over 1400 premature deaths a year in Wales. Likely more. When we trash our natural world our air, water and soil it’s the poorest most vulnerable people in our societies that suffer. The establishment parties have failed us, it’s time to elect Greens to the Senedd. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
