So, it turned out when I copied everything into a new folder to restructure the monograph, I missed a chapter. Realised a couple of weeks ago and had to restructure it again to fit in the missing material. Anyway, done now, and hopefully better for it.

Good grief, I think I might have finished a full first draft of my monograph! Not a good draft, obviously, but one that starts, has a middle and continues to some sort of end.

I've got a second-hand combine harvester That'll do for me I've got a second-hand combine harvester I'm not made of money The thresher's kind of bloody The bales are full of teeth But I don't ask too many questions And I don't look underneath

The baby was quite hyper at bedtime so we finally set up the ceiling projector she got for her birthday to shine some colour-shifting nebula patterns and try to calm her down. Long story short, I think as far as she's concerned she just had the most profoundly transcendent experience of her life.

Caught up on 2 more Man From UNCLE episodes yesterday. Of course I've spotted repeated location/backlot set use throughout the series but there is something very charming about the exact same set, shot from the same angle, being used for England and the French Riviera in successive episodes.

Our baby's taken to only napping about half an hour at nursery and has been coming home absolutely wrecked. She was asleep at home at 3.30 today. I woke her up at 5 for some food and a much needed bath and she did not cope. This isn't sustainable. Worried I'm going to have to keep her home tomorrow.

And Tom Chadbon gone, one of the best things about one of the best Doctor Who stories. "That's a spaceship!" Interviewed him way back when and was lucky enough to have him in one of my audios playing a dotty time scientist. Lovely fella and did good work.

Tom Chadbon as Duggan.
