Preprint Alert📣 Our work ✳️uncovers a distinct cancer cell state with survival advantages in the pediatric cancer *Ewing Sarcoma* ✳️implicates membrane invaginations called *caveolae* that drive survival through subcellular organization of signaling molecules on the cell surface. Check it out! 👇

Very excited by this paper by @peeyoushh.bsky.social in my lab. We demonstrated the increased robustness of LLM/transformers in tracking at scale but also their pitfalls: when the combinatorics gets simpler (and not just modeling!), stats work best. Tons of potential for hybrid approaches :).
This year, we (Philippe Roudot and I) published my first PhD paper on the usability of transformers for tracking problems at EUSIPCO! Find the open access version here and/or continue reading the thread :) hal.science/hal-04619330/
Hello bsky :). Application still opened for an exciting @centuri-ls.bsky.social PhD project with C. Collinet combining AI and stochastic modeling to understand how living embryos rearrange their own shape! Project & application details here: centuri-livingsystems.org/application-... DL Jan 27th.
