OBAA is only nominally about radical politics, which it views as a lens through which to consider what it’s really interested in, which is the terror of bringing a child into the world, a question that will always have a political valence but not EXCLUSIVELY a political valence.

Pat actually checks out of both roles for too long and winds up in a pot haze where he doesn’t remember his passwords *or* know what his kid is up to.
