If pressed on it he'd do the conservative back-pedal and say "Oh I'm just joking, is humor illegal now?!" but there's a real shot he's not joking.
There's a lot of people out there who feel like having ANY answer to "big" questions is better then having NO answer to "big" questions.
What you believe isn't an item you purchase in a store; something you pick and consciously choose to take or use. It's not a fruit in a grocery store that you spot and decide to add to your cart.
