Texas got hemp wrong because this law hurts local businesses without giving Texans more freedom. We should trust adults to make informed decisions, backed by strong testing and clear labels instead of unnecessary bans.

We tend to think of “charitable giving” as unambiguously good because we equate “charities” with organizations that help the poor and equate “giving” with generosity. But both assumptions are wrong.
