Sometimes an unruly shape file is too much to use in my normal process, but it ends up being just perfect for the paint process. I suppose there's a lesson in there. Just because you don't work in one group, doesn't mean you can't shine on your own. Or something cool like that. #paintseries #art

One of the struggles with knowing how you made something is always seeing the process in the final product. For this alternative paint piece, I can see the process more vividly, thus I don't take this one as seriously. But he still smiles at me innocently, and so I let him stay. #artprocess #paint

It is a truly bizarre thing to see your own art in an art gallery, but I was really glad to participate in a local art show. With digital-primary art, I know it's not the same thing as a 1-of-1 painting or sculpture, but when I actually get into selling, what I get printed will be limited runs.
When a shape file is divisible by four, I can "fold it" in on itself and the result is a tessellated design mirrored at the corners. Sometimes these are so interesting, I don't want to only have them as background images. I started making some into paint pieces. It's Paint Series Wednesday! #paint

Not too long ago, I showed my art to someone who asked if I was dabbling in psychedelic drugs. I had to confess that my art is all made stone-cold sober (even before coffee), but maybe there are some lasting effects of my misspent youth. This paint series piece makes his question even more valid.
