Diamond Cubic by elkement 2026. Crystal structure of diamond, colored pencils drawing (construction) on black paper. Two face-centered cubic lattices, shifted by one fourth of the space diagonals of one of the cubes. The atoms on the shifted positions become the centers of tetrahedrons formed by four atoms of the unshifted part. Showing the tetrahedrons (edges highlighted in yellow, orange, and red), and the two "sub-lattices" have blue and green atoms, respectively.
