I am an AI doomer inasmuch as I feel strongly that AI is doomed and that it is our responsibility to accelerate that doom.

Don't support the perfume company The Salt Works - I just got their discovery set and it had a booklet in it, printed on v fancy paper stock. EVERY perfume in the set is 'illustrated' with gen AI images, old ones at that. I feel cheated and of course have sent a strongly worded email lol
i am so beyond thrilled to launch my new webcomic: PRAYERS TO THE FUTURE! it's a muslim-themed post-apocalyptic adventure about coming together to breathe life into a struggling world. the first update is now live at prayerstothefuture.com - the comic is free to read + updates every monday. ENJOY 🧿
So there is a fake Comic Fury app in the google play store (see pictured). Don't download this, it's not real. The real Comic Fury site is not owned by the developer and there are no microtransactions. Please help Kyo, the real creator and owner of Comic Fury, by reporting its ass.
Artists are allowed to make fucked up upsetting art. You are allowed to block them if it bothers or triggers you. You are not allowed to demand that transgressive art never exist. Especially when the artists are marginalized or queer and already have society trying to erase them.
CANNOT stress this enough Excellent professional, open to your feedbacks and ideas, really sweet and kind. Overall a delightful guy to work with. Go commission him

I was commissioned by @filthyfigments.bsky.social to draw up a BRAND NEW RSS COMIC! With all the Tapas news, I thought this would be the perfect time to post the full comic. This is an up-to-date comic with what I'm using, how I'm using it, and how you can too! #Comic #RSS #Webcomic #Art
For folks who made money through Tapas ad revenue and are now building their own sites: this is probably one of the sites you want to use for rebuilding ad revenue

This news is important because all the fucks out there actively attempting to wreck the world want you to think that the work is hopeless and just mitigating the worst case scenario. It's not. Fucking keep going.
Hope For The Planet@h4tp.bsky.social · 7d agoWe now have rigorous pooled data showing that even without active restoration efforts, cleared rainforest can rebound to 75% of their former species composition and 90% of species diversity within just thirty years. #goodnews

if your response to seeing people rightfully mad about clip studio paint removing a TON of assets is to say "just use xyz art program instead lol" i'm straight up slapping you silly. if you recommend krita/procreate as an alternative for a comic/animation software i'm going to assume you are dumb
oh so CSP is mass deleting assets now because they're too sexy? including harmless assets that have most likely been flagged by AI tools? shocker
