In Super Mario RPG, Mario's house is made out of pure darkness by default, and every object inside it is only colored in manually by a script when Mario enters. This is the only area in the game that works like this, for an unknown reason.

I just figured out how we can get people to stop fighting over if FF6 or FF7 is better. As soon as the topic comes up, just say the game's names out loud but WITHOUT the FF part. Then everyone will just get mad at you instead of each other
