As promised, here’s a thread of my extended thoughts on Digital Circus and its finale! I tried to organize these as best I could, but I wrote a ton so apologies if I’m rambling. Spoilers, of course, and my words are my own - not speaking for Goose, anyone at Glitch, or my castmates. Enjoy!

I know the TADC fandom has been MISERABLE, which has left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths. As an outsider, I find the story deeply compelling. I know this has been a miserable experience for gooseworx, but I hope after she's had some time to be away, she'll look back on this show with pride.

I'm still chewing on the TADC finale. I just adore the complexities of it. I adore how messy and ugly Jax's story is. How her desperation to protect herself from that fear of rejection and mockery has made her an awful, abusive person to the people around her. That's real and HARD to watch.

Also, how would we feel about some illustrations of Jax playing around with her gender? I think it would be so fun to give Jax a space to experiment and tap into some genderfluidity and play with pronouns. (This is a way for me to put Jax in a bunch of different outfits.)

Now that I've absorbed the TADC finale with sleep and dreams of Jax crashing out, I must say how incredible that finale was. I love how the horror blended with Jax's internalized transphobia, and the fear and terror and trauma of it made her a terrible person, yet people still love her.
