Portfolio advice, from a lead who hires Concept Art (Originally a twitter thread I wrote before the site self imolated) I wrote this after a weekend of portfolio reviews- 1. Like a maths exam, please please show your working. I want to see thumbs options, mid options and of course a final design.

im not joking to you but i never see down someone who are being vulnerable online, if anything they make me feel like even more human so thank you for being vulnerable here
to me, “you should create for yourself” and “you deserve to be acknowledged for what you make” are two statements that should coexist. chasing engagement will rot your soul, while being neglected will see your passion wither. loving what you make is a failsafe for when the engagement never comes.

i have this kind of mindset from the beginning i joined artwt (2019), i see ppl in creatives as my peers and inspiration. in my head there’s no rivals in career. this rlly helps me grow
