My mental health tanked this year & I realized its caused a pattern of frequent bad bpd episodes & disassociation that ive been taking online too often. I realized I unfollowed/blocked a lot of people. I'm sorry. Dont take it personally or uh... run off telling others to block me. 😬 I will fix it.

😏💋 [ #LavenderSkies #BoruxLeanna #OC #Art #Fantasy #Romance #Autumn ]

Boru and Leanna at a makeup/paint stall under an autumn dusk light. She has her back to him but is looking up her right shoulder with her hand caressing his cheek. He looks down at her with a dopey, nervous, realizing smile, as she says "Hmm, I believe I know how to properly test this new lip paint."

The number of people who went MIA after hiring them for my project is quite depressing... things happen, but it just comes off insanely unprofessional. Apply for these projects only if you are absolutely interested and have the energy and time to do so. I feel I would have more to show by now. Yeesh

Take anything but her [ #LavenderSkies #OC #Art #Fantasy ]

Boru looking absolutly disheveled, tired, beaten, emotional, damaged, angry , staring intensely into the viewer's gaze. This hair is stringy and his eyes are glowing amber. He is holding the back of Leanna's head protectively, the scars on his hand glowing in reaction to her presence/touch/something about fate.

Please do not trace my poses or copy concepts ✨️😊 they are my own, and the story I make has personal touches. you are better than ripping hard work from random artists. I will not be nice about it if I see another clear attempt 🪻💋 if you are inspired, it's cool to contact me and ask about it, tho.

[touched up old art] He swooped her up and never put her back down 😤 #ocxcanon #thehobbit #art

Elderly Bofur (the hobbit) and Leanna Baggins (OC for the Hobbit, not Leanna from Lavender Skies - this is pre-LS)

Bofur is holding her up bridal style. They look at each other endearingly. Bofur says "Yer just as stunnin' as the day I met ya 50 years ago, only more!" and Leanna responds "Oh hush!"

Intended to post this in August, the month dedicated to these dorks - my most favored & longest oc x canon ship - who also heavily inspired LS content ♥ [ #ocxcanon #TheHobbit #fanart #art #oc #Bofur ]

Bofur from The Hobbit and my long time OC Leanna when she was a Hobbit in Middle Earth prior to Lavender Skies content. I will be making a separate sheet with their differences.

They are walking in some autumn woods together. Bofur's holding a strap to a sack with his right arm, and offers his left arm to Leanna, who wraps her hand from underneath. She looks up at him endearingly, holding her very round pregnant belly. Bofur looks down her with his clasic dopey blushy grin.

"All ya need to do is bat them pretty eyes of y'ers, and I'll carry ya the rest of the way." (Bofur)

"Do yo think you can handle two heavy ladies - one who is particularly craving lembas bread?" (Leanna)

Boru is insecure around other dwarves, especially ones decorated with family clasps, braids, tattoos and hand-me-down axes that he severely lacks. Thankfully, the very goddess he wants to impress doesn't care much for the gold & prefers him the way he is. 🫶 [ #comic #art #dwarf #oc #LavenderSkies ]

First frame: Boru listening to another dwarf at a party. He is decorated in gold clasps and hair pieces, braids, and smoking from a pipe with a unknowing smile on his face. It is implied he is asking about Boru's axe, braids, clasps, and tattoos, something dwarves typically posess in fantasy, but Boru lacks completely.
Second frame, Boru has stepped outside where it is snowing, looking nervously to the left.
Third frame, Leanna has stepped in by his side, seemingly from inside where she was also mingling. She says, "The clasps and braids are clever. I adore the symbolism of your culture. But goodness, some wear so mujch shine I do not know where to look first."
Fourth frame, she turns to him with a soft smile. "I like that you are not so... hidden. I do not have to sort through all the glitter first. You are yourself, a little untidy, perhaps, and certainly stubborn around the hair, but you're you, just with a different story to tell.
Fifth frame is Boru looking red-face, Leanna looking to the side, not noticing how flustered she just made him with such a relieving compliment. she says, "Hm, I hope that wasn't rude to say..."

Series of doodles of Boru x Leanna.
First drawing: Boru is leaning down towards Leanna's pregnant belly, saying something probably witty to the unborn child, who thinks just talked back to him with a kick.

Second image: Boru and Leanna in a bit of a fight. They are glaring at each other. Don't normaly draw them unhappy so I wanted to practice.

Third Image: Boru holding and looking down at an open satchel with a kitten poppin out. He says: " Oh, Great! I'm gonna get a goof scoldin' thanks to you!" With a bubble nearby of an angy leanna inside, saying: "Why are you bringing animals home?"

Fourth Image: Boru crafting a small matching collar for the kitten, tongue out, struggling with his big fingers. Leanna leans over him with a loving expression.

[ #LavenderSkies ] Leanna's sketch journal just got a little more precious ✨️🫶 [ #oc #art #fantasy #comic #boruxleanna ]

Boru looking extra sleepy with messy hair and dopey heavy lidded expression. Leanna holds up her journal where two sketches are seen: one of Boru and the other of a post hibernation bear. She says, "If you look closely, you can see that theyre the same picture."
next frame boru and leanna are laying in the grass as he concentrates on drawing his own take.

Boru presents his masterpiece. A scribbled, smudgy drawing of Leanna and... a doe?
Boru says:"y'know, I had something smart ass to say but..."
Leanna stifled a giggle. "Oh my. Um. What is... this on the right?"
Boru looks in pain, cringing. "Look, its been a while since ive seen a doe, alright? Please, never allow me to embarrass myself like this again."

Leanna hugs her journal to her chest with a smile. "I will show this to my family first thing!"
Boru in a panic: "oi! thats even worse!"

🪞This can be interpreted in a few different ways, not sure which to choose 🤔 #oc #sketch #wip #dwarf #LavenderSkies

(Right) Boru, dressed nicer, more cleaned up with a braid and beard clasp, scars covered, is looking into the mirror to see his past self, (Left) battered, homeless, abused, ragged, tired.

There are many different ways this can be taken, and I'm not really sure how to choose one.

Boru could be having a hard time accepting his new life and still sees his former self that he had grown to hate but it felt deserved.

It could also be a form of ptsd.

Maybe he feels he doesn't deserve to see himself in a better light.

Sköll and Hati chasing the sun and moon, for Caylie #LavArts #Papercraft #DigitalCollage #PetSky #Commission #Art

A papercraft-style illustration of two cats, one a gray tabby and the other black, chasing balls of yarn that look like the sun and moon. Behind them is a stylized sky full of clouds and stars. The image is mimicking traditional papercrafts made of layered and patterned paper, so it includes lots of shading and patterns taken from scrapbook paper samples.

I’m a character artist. I’m used to painting skin and hair and clothes... soft textures, basically. I found out the hard way that this approach does not work for rocks. Unless you want them to look like weirdly shiny flesh blobs instead 🤔
