My plan for today was to play The Sims for the first time in a month. I wanted to create some TV show sets. Now CC is broken. So done.

I won’t be supporting the new Marketplace feature. It’s clearly EA’s way of maintaining a revenue stream for The Sims 4 without doing much work. I ain’t supporting laziness.

So Makers only get 30% of sales? And yikes… those first packs are expensive.

The way everything is falling into place with this guy—the guy of my dreams—and I don’t know what to do. At least it’s real.

The best bit about Royalty & Legacy is the world. The reused build/buy and gameplay? Meh. I wish The Sims sold Worlds like they did in The Sims 3. I’d buy all the World Packs ✨

I do love my American followers 😘 Last night I just got heated because so many Americans were in my DMs and replying to tweets saying I was being problematic because Disney rolled back DEI initiatives and supported Trump. Both of which are disappointing but nothing to do with me as a British guy.

Americans are hating on me for booking Disneyland Paris because Disney has bowed down to the Trump regime. …I’m BRITISH. Trump is not my problem. He’s a problem AMERICA created. It’s not on me—to police myself—because you guys made a big fucking mistake (twice) 🙄 Be made at yourselves!

Didn’t have enough room in Nordhaven for all my sims—so I’ve built an apartment block complete with a convenience store on the ground floor.

I really want to play The Sims 4 in French, but changing the language isn’t an option in the EA app 😭 And apparently if you do want to do it, you have to uninstall and backup everything 😭

I also think there’s something deeply colonial about a West African Kingdom being part of a greater—European—Kingdom named Ondarion. But maybe I’m too woke? 🤔

Dambele should have been a separate world offering a richer exploration of West African culture. A neighbourhood of three to four lots isn’t ideal representation.
