live2d moved their alpha feedback channel from discord to their official forum, and after two weeks theres barely any comments... last year people would have spoken their thoughts from the day one on discord

Curious has anyone ever attempted tracking VTuber models over VPN? Instead of screensharing video, you are streaming tracking inputs over network to the remote host PC running Vtube Studio. I wonder if it's reliable for use in public events

For You is based on your likes in the last 90 days. It looks like you haven't liked anything for that long and that's why For You is empty. Try liking a couple of posts elsewhere (search?) and open For You again.

Hi Bsky 👋 My Live2D model public comms is now open! I'm interested in working on more posed models or models with custom animations. If that sounds like what you're up to, I'd love to see it! Regular full/half body are accepted too Slots are limited, apply below!

【📢 Notice regarding Live2D Cubism 5.3 】 VTube Studio may support Live2D Cubism 5.3 later this year, but the required Unity SDK from Live2D Inc. has not been released yet. Full transparency below: 👇🧵

Reminder that the new Live2D 5.3 features are still NOT compatible with VTS and likely will not be for a while yet (like... several more months minimum probably). You can still use the new editor features and QoL stuff so long as you make sure you're still using the 5.0 SDK. #Live2D

There's one Live2D feature that I wish would get used often: Custom Events. Imagine a trigger at specific time of animation. You can have it play sounds, set post visual effects or even change OBS scenes. This feature is supported by VTS API, but few mainstream plugins is taking advantage of it

Live2D User Data and Events description

you can add perspective to a flat image pretty easily by using a perspective transform and then adding a vanishing point. then, simply move features along the vanishing point lines and add whatever is needed to maintain the form and look right

Been a Live2D rigger for a few years now and I’m curious how others handle this. How do you usually handle PSDs that aren’t Live2D ready? Fix it yourself and adjust price/ETA, or work with someone else to further prepare the PSD for Live2D? Art by @pairidaez67
