Started this near the end of August, had like no motivation to work on it most of September, and now I've finally actually finished it. Anyway, the oc gang get ready for the beach, but Blake has to be remined they are the palest motherfucker alive. #art #ocart #digitalart #comic

A comic about my ocs getting ready to go to the beach.

Panel one: Blake (dyed hair), Elina (sunflower bow), Steve (sweater vest) and Edgar (orange ghost) I pumping their fists into the air in celebration. Blue text above them reads "beach day!"

Panel two: Blake is reading a checklist off their phone and the others respond. Also everyone is in beach wear now
Blake: "Food and water?"
Steve: "Check"
Blake: "Towels?"
Edgar: "Yep"
Blake: "The umbrella with a crap-ton of holes?
Elina: "The one and only!"

panel 3: Blake opens the door to leave.
Blake: "All right, let's get going then!"

panel 4: Steve grabs Blake by the shoulder to stop them. they are surprised.
Steve: "Hold it!" Did you put on sunscreen?"

panel 5: Blake is now turned towards Steve, one hand sheepishly behind their head.
Blake: "I was just going to put it on when we got there"
Steve put his fists on his hips
Steve: "Oh hell no! Remember what happened last time?"

comic continues

Panel 1: Steve continues to lecture Blake.
Steve: "It was such a rush job, you didn't put on nearly enough and wound up redder than a maraschino cherry. (not to metion the amount of aloe vera gel we had to buy). There is a little pic of Blake burned to a crisp. both of blake's hands are behind their head. They know Steve is low key kinda right, but are still a bit annoyed.
Blake: "Okay ya, mistakes were made. I learned my lesson though, so let's get going."
Steve: "I ain't letting it happen again. Just do it now."
Blake: "Come on man, ease up a bit. I'll be fine"

Panel 2: Blake and Steve continue to go back and forth, but nothing of importance is actually being said. Elina and Edgar are standing in the back watching this all unfold. Elina is holding the previously mentioned umbrella with all the holes.

panel 3: Edgar and Elina smugly look at eachother.
Edgar: "So, who do you think is winning?"
Elina: "Oh Steve for sure. Fighting Mr. Mom friend on this is a losing battle, and Blake knows it.

Car Frustrations! Recently my car has finally gone kaput, meaning I don't have reliable transportation anymore. I got lucky in that I found someone who would take it and have an offer on a used car for cheap, but I had to borrow a lot of money to get everything sorted. Any help/shares appreciated.
