Went done a GG Allin rabbit hole last night and honestly his spoken word/weird solo noise performances in the mid 80’s were the most intense and fucked up. Never seen that stuff before.
Hearing Joy Division on the radio right now and remembering a time in college when my Biology professor (an 80’s Lincoln punk) gave the final exam an extra credit question asking: What band did Ian Curtis play in and how did he die?” Of course I was the only one who got it right. Lol!
Made a mix today for Rinse out of France and I’m pretty stoked. Noise techno all the way.
