I can't explain it but I feel like years of bad vibes related to homework might have done a number on people's ability to make informed votes.

it's funny to see some Americans act like "we expected he'd do something like this" when the room is like "what the fuck? why would he do that?" every single news cycle.

Every push for gen AI into public services seems more of "the government made a deal without checking if it'll be useful at all, so we gotta find some way to make use of it or else people will catch on" and less of any serious, provable metric of it being that useful. Hope it stops soon.

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is developing an AI platform which will allow public employees to generate applications to assist with their work.

Been on my mind for a while but what is it with people who choose to make a social media page/profile just to do the following: - download a pretty image from a photographer - upload it to their own page - wait for people to engage with their content (as if they were the ones that made said image)

Fox watched the snowfall, utterly captivated. She could watch forever, her mind drifting along with the snowflakes as they floated and fell with each whisper of wind. Well, maybe not for too long actually. She was getting pretty chilly and quite fancied curling up somewhere warm.
