A big problem across MLB is a lack of teams trying. There were teams in the hunt that sold. There were first-place teams who were conservative. Trying doesn’t always work out, I get it, but too many teams are afraid to try. Maybe things go poorly, but I’m not gonna fault the Twins for trying.
