Ms. Rachel: "Ed Sheeran had an opportunity…Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows." "If more than 20,000 white children were killed…everyone would be shouting…Treating some children's lives as less worthy of outrage is racist. Silence during a genocide is not neutral."

Ms. Rachel post:
"Ed Sheeran had an opportunity show that we won't be bullied into punishing people for supporting Palestine. Instead he caved to people who refuse to accept what the world knows. A genocide is happening in Gaza. We all need to speak out against it.

New: Macklemore says Robert Kraft — who owns Gillette Stadium, where Macklemore & Ed Sheeran were to perform later this month — called Sheeran. Kraft rallied other owners together behind an ultimatum for Sheeran: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you won't be allowed in our venues.

I'm not sure how to start this. So I'm going to speak from the heart and share the truth. Ed Sheeran and his team have made the decision to remove me from The Loop tour.
But before I get into it, I want to say something that should be obvious. In this moment I think it matters. I am not a victim. Ed Sheeran is not a victim. Pink is not a victim. We have careers, money, opportunities, safety and audiences around the world. Whatever consequences any of us face for what we say, we get to go home to our families.

The victims are the Palestinian people. The men, women and children who have been killed, starved, displaced and forced to live through unimaginable violence. More than 20,000 children have been killed in Gaza alone. People are being killed today, and people will be killed tomorrow. I want to make sure that as I tell this story, we don't lose sight of that.

Ed is my friend. I've known him for 13 years. We've shared late nights, studio sessions and stages. He has this infectious magic about him that I've grown to love. I consider him a brother. And because of that, we've had some difficult conversations this past week. The type of talks rooted in love and respect for one another that still end in a place of fundamental disagreement. Nothing I'm writing here is out of spite or because I want to tear down his character. But as I told Ed multiple times on the phone, our friendship can't change my responsibility to tell the truth about what happened.

Last Monday, in the middle of all the media attention surrounding Pink and what I said at MetLife, Ed told me that Robert Kraft called him. We were scheduled to play Gillette Stadium later this month, which is owned by the Kraft Group. Ed told me that Kraft said I would not be allowed to perform in his stadium. Ed also told me that Kraft had rallied some of the other
stadium owners and collectively they gave him an ultimatum: if Macklemore stays on the tour, you will not be allowed to play in our venues.

Ed was in …

The shares bond of people terrorizing brown people. I was 15 and watched it happen. In the following weeks, the stories of the bullying and the attacking started. Then the war that classmates went off to and some never came back. The ones that did are changed forever.

But that feeling of a shared bond among all Americans in the early weeks after the attack is something I’m so glad I got to experience. Because it’s the thing that I think we’re missing the most today.

One of my friends is trying to be cute and mysterious with me right now in text message. Pro tip: don’t do that. “Men like a little mystery”. Not this one. Lol

BOOK COVER REVEAL! After many years in book limbo, I'm finally self-publishing my novel this fall! The world changes when ordinary people develop superhuman abilities. Our story follows three friends who each have their own unique gift, and the lengths they must go to protect their community.

Book cover: The Augmented. At the top are three people, a Black non-binary person on the left with pink lipstick and pink shirt, center is a white man with a black shirt, and on the right is an Asian woman wearing a black shirt.

I don’t strive to be thin/lean. I just do my best moderate diet and exercise etc. but I’m starting to really carry weight in my stomach which physically doesn’t bother me much. Howeverrrrrr guess who is in pre diabetic ranges now and has to do a little better lol.

Graduated from the same high school 1 year prior. Absolute mayhem. The competition , my 3.7 gpa was so off the radar that effectively I was the “dumb” one of the group. The competition, the aggression, I left the program my senior year and I think that’s one of the only reasons I calmed down

the “IB manifesto” I went to a HS that had an International Baccalaureate program. my brother was there four years prior. back then it was more competitive…

Every week for almost a month. The night before my work week starts. I’ve not been able to sleep at all, I have no idea. No difference from any other night. I feel like burnout might be really starting to rear its ugly head.

You know what profession I’m bothered by? “Content creators” it’s turned YouTube into An endless combo of repetitive shit and “influencers”. I’m not talking about people who are educators etc. it’s just terrible to watch honestly.
