One of the telling things for me is how consistent the messaging has been over the years that affecting cis women should be the motivator to oppose these policies, and yet trans women being fully pushed out of sports has been almost ignored as an injustice.

Syrian Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shibani announced the establishment of a High Commission to investigate the fate of missing and forcibly disappeared persons in the country. The announcement came in a recorded speech before the #UN Human Rights Council.
Al-Shibani reaffirmed the #Syriangovernment's commitment to transitional justice, highlighting its cooperation with the UN-established International Impartial and Independent Mechanism to uncover the fate of missing persons in #Syrianprisons, that was recently granted access to the country. He also emphasized the new authorities' determination to pursue and hold those responsible for crimes accountable.
Al-Shibani also called on the international community to support efforts to achieve transitional justice and lift sanctions on #Syria.
